Mandela Effects
I have talked about Mandela effects in my last post but this time we are going a little more in-depth. Mandela effects, if you don't remember are when a large number of people share a false memory. One famous example is Nelson Mandela who the Mandela effect is named after. Many people think that Nelson Mandela died in prison in the 1980s, long before he was president. But in reality, he died in 2013. Not convinced? Well, read more about the different types of Mandela effects.Berenstein Bears
How do you spell Berenstein bears? Is it B-E-R-E-N-S-T-E-I-N? Or is it B-E-R-E-N-S-T-A-I-N? If you pick the first one you are...incorrect. It really is spelled Berenstain bears. Yeah, you're probably shaking. If not then a) you probably don't even know what the Berenstain bears are or b) you're crazy and need to read more of this post.
Loony Toons
As a child, you must have loved the Loony Toons. Or is it Loony Tunes? Yep, that's right. Your entire childhood is a lie. I've been thinking it was Loony Toons my entire life. I mean Toons, short for cartoons. Tunes doesn't even make sense.
Star Wars
What an epic moment when Darth Vader says, "Luke, I am your father." NOPE! That never happens, ever. It actually is "No, I am your father." It is okay if you are questioning your existence right now because it turns out that James Earl Jones, the person who voiced Darth Vader, remembers saying "Luke, I am your father." I have goosebumps down my arm. That's just downright weird.
Monopoly Man
Playing monopoly was a household game from ages 6 and up. The monopoly man,-Rich Uncle Pennybags-looking so cute with his suit, top hat, and monocle. What's that? Really? He NEVER wore a monocle. My childhood is crumbling down. What's next? I'm adopted? Wouldn't be a surprise though.
