Are we a simulation????

      I think this is the craziest theory yet but I still, kind of, believe it. There are 2 different versions of the conspiracy theory.  The first one is that we are in a virtual reality game and that aliens, or humans, are playing the game. The second one is that a future civilization made a simulation, that looks so real, to show what past civilizations looked like.
    Yes, this theory is a little, ok a lot, far-fetched but one of the most famous celebrities and tech genius believes in it. Who you might be wondering. Well, its none other than Elon Musk. Elon Musk is a genius, entrepreneur, engineer, and investor. He is the founder and CEO of SpaceX and he is the product architect of Tesla.  He is one of the most powerful and smartest people ever. And he believes we are living in a simulation. Check out the link down below on what he thinks. (The video is a bunch of videos combined of various times Elon mentions people living in simulations. One video is played twice. Please skip over the video he second time; trust me its the same thing.)

   
    So Elon Musk thinks we're living in a simulation. In fact, he thinks there are 1 in a billionth chance we are living in reality, that this isn't a game. So no, he doesn't think aliens are playing us like a video game, but we'll get to that part later. Now I want to talk about Elon Musk's theory. His theory is that a future generation- which can be 100 to 10,000 years from now- created simulations. Like Elon explained, Our technology has advanced so fast and is growing more and more as you read this. 100 years ago if you gave someone an iPhone X they probably would be so fascinated by what a phone is and all the advanced features included. So why is it not possible for people in the future to create simulations so real it feels like real life. But if we are living in a simulation that "real life" could be so different then what we think. For all we know, dinosaurs could probably still be alive or aliens could've abducted humans and end humanity. There could be no humans for crying out loud. Aliens could've made a simulation to see how humans would evolve in a world given certain resources. They could be planning to create humans on some planet with oxygen and see how humans would interact and survive. Goodness, I'm getting ahead of myself now.

Glitches

   You might be wondering what I mean by glitches, right? Well here are some examples of "glitches" in our life.
  • Deja vu
  • Mandela effects
      The definition of deja vu is "a feeling of having already experienced the present situation." Many people experience deja vu but scientists can't thoroughly explain it. Deja vu is like an unexplainable phenomenon. I experience deja vu in a different way. At night I would have a dream of doing something. The next morning something I did in my dream comes to life. It's weird. If you experience deja vu comment down below. Well anyway, people think deja vu is our "player/controller" did something but was unsatisfied with the decision so respawned to redo it. It's hard to explain. 
      Mandela effects are something I will be talking about in the future. If you aren't aware of what Mandela effects are, Mandela effects are "refers to when a large number of people share a false memory, originally attributed to the existence of multiple universes." People think mandela effects are another glitch and that they are updates in the "game." If you are confused about what a mandela effect is, don't worry, I'll go more in-depth in the next post.
